What Is a Software Bug?

A software bug is an error, faults in a computer program that creates wrong or unknown results. The majority of bugs are caused by mistakes and faults made by people during programming code or design. If there are constant changes at the requirements stage this can cause programming errors and software errors.

Resolving a software bug in one part of the software can cause a problem in another part. Redesigning user interfaces can cause an issue for a system. Recreate completed work on hardware/software is a bug. Major bugs take place with bigger projects; it’s very difficult to find an error/defect.

How bugs get into software programmes?

Software bugs appear by software engineers during analysis, design, coding and testing stage. User may input unnecessary words in a computer program which may cause complicated bugs.
